Event invitation &#38;amp; art direction concepts


	The Concept
The architectural constraints of our event space at Amazon Studios in Culver City were atypical. “The Spine” is a very narrow, very tall, and extra-long breezeway between 2 large office buildings. Unique challenges, however, present unique opportunities. In any case, the path through the space would be a linear attendee journey. All we had to do was be the guides.
Instead of adding more visual information, Production Club simplified everything as much as possible. Large sheets would be draped from the tops of the office buildings and washed in Amazon Music's brand cyan. Think of it like a 500x75’ flag. By simplifying the visual field, we built a sandbox of 2D/3D space, light, sound, and color.My role for the Amazon Music Lot Party ‘26 was to lead art direction &#38;amp; graphic design, as well as to work on the music technology side of the event.&#38;nbsp;

Laser Harp Installation
I worked with our lighting &#38;amp; production designer, Griffin Behm, on the music interface side of the laser harp. Once Griffin got RTP MIDI connected to the laser harp, I built an Ableton session where guests using a MIDI-controlled stream deck could choose different synthesizer patches to play on the instrument. The height at which your hand was touching the laser would change the sound's tone.
Below are samples of a few of the patches guests could play. In honor of Skepta being the headliner of the event, guests could play the bassline of his collaboration with Fred again.. ‘Victory Lap’ on the laser harp.&#38;nbsp;

SignageThroughout the event, I designed a series of beacons along the spine to guide guests to various activations. Each beacon featured a site map and a QR code that allowed attendees to scan and save curated Amazon Music editorial playlists.

	After an alien spacecraft crash-lands in Beverly Hills, CA, a government agency approached Notch Industries for their help in a top-secret program to investigate the encounter. The house interior was transformed into a complex of research laboratories, with the basement being used for experiments on the surviving aliens.
For the Hellcrest VI art direction, I drew inspiration from aerospace companies, defense contractors, and sci-fi movies to build our visual foundation for the event. I created an alien alphabet and applied it to graphics, flyers, signage, and media displays throughout the event to immerse guests in the world of Arera 1181. Several types of HUD interfaces were created and used as key elements within the party’s immersive game and scenic elements.

Key art &#38;amp; invitation for guests attending Notch’s Paradise Lost party

	The ConceptProduction Club transformed Notch’s house into a tropical island getaway. The space was divided into 3 distinct areas so guests could seek refuge in the dense jungle habitat, get elevated on the volcanic grotto dance floor, or relax in the beach-themed backyard. A heavy mix of live plants, handcrafted scenic builds, and themed stage props created a naturalistic yet party-ready environment.My role was to develop the art direction and execute all graphic and sound design for this event.&#38;nbsp;
Sound DesignWith a combination of found sounds &#38;amp; sonic manipulations in Ableton, I created the auditory world of Hillcrest Isle. Airport PA voice-over by Laura Lee.

ANTI was an event series hosted by Production Club at their PC+1 venue, focusing on higher BPM underground sounds. I had the opportunity to design the branding and art-direct the event series from the ground up, developing its visual aesthetic. I also co-curated the lineups for these shows alongside Eric Ginnetty.&#38;nbsp;

Since 2018, Raskin has explored the terrain between ambient and techno, carving out a space beyond rave euphoria and the contemplative depths of electronica rich with lucid imagery and immersive storytelling.

	Artwork for my friends Monogram Sound, featuring an edited version of my typeface ‘Elysian.’ “Hyperobject” is a concept album about humans' relationship to AI. The idea behind the album art's imagery is that we are all subconsciously inputting our likeness into AI, creating an infinite feedback loop.
