After being rejected & denied by record labels for my new music projects, I thought it would be funny if I created a “fake label” to help elevate my art and eventually get myself signed to a label of my liking. What started off as a joke, quickly turned into something tangible when I was developing the branding. When I made the logo, it felt like Hyperreal Projects could be more than just an inside joke. As of now Hyperreal Projects is the record label for my music & my online print shop.

I animated & scored this bumper to announce Hyperreal Projects’ existence to the world. For this announcement, I was inspired by the 1977 PBS jingle & bumper.
